Sometimes. If the well is also collecting groundwater, you usually need a drain at the base too. We inspect both before recommending a cover.
What is an egress window?
A code-compliant basement window large enough to use as an emergency exit. Required for any bedroom in a finished basement in most jurisdictions.
Can window well work be done in winter?
Yes, in most weather. Frozen ground or snow drifts can delay parts of the work, and we’ll let you know honestly.
